Luminaries
Theres a blog i love to visit and Kim makes these wonderful luminaries from tea bags..... that really appealed to me but i didnt have to time to collect tea bags and wanted to put my spin on it....after some experimenting i discovered that scraps of napkins, patterend tissue, thread and glitter sandwiched bw tissue paper work beautifully...i wish my sewing machine took metallic threads as they would been lovely stitched however i used leafing pens to go over the stitching and they gave them a nice edge. i also embellished some of them with twinklings and the lumiere powders....i am also going to experiment further with stamping and stitching........
one day....
after Christmas ;)
love the way the candles and Chrissy patterns show thru on these.......
taken in daylight.....

I'm completely mesmerised Jen, I've never seen these before, the black and white one is my fav. The touch of gold on the flowers really does finish them, love the whole colour combo on that one. The Swissys came up really well! Mx
Yes they look lovely!! It makes me smile so much to know that you made some in your own style! Thanks for letting me know. I too don't like the pricing part...nor the packaging. Good luck with the sale!

Wow Jenxo, what a great idea. You are so innovative, who would have thought to use either tea bags or napkins. I love them all. Good luck with sales, I am sure you will do very well.
Lovely Les xo
These are beautiful Jen. I bought some simlar last year for a friend for Christmas (with the idea of trying to make some....that never did happen).
Battery operated tea lights. Now thats a great idea.
Yours candles should sell well!

So different Jen these are going to fly out the door or stall or whatever. You and Jenny will be retiring soon after the market day or going to Paris maybe.... I've got to check this technique out.
Oh... these are fabulous Jen!! So unique and unusual..Loving the one with London on ;)
Have Fun on Sunday :)
