a Shabby Christmas Pocket...

I made this little Christmas pocket for The Inkurable Stampers Shabby Christmas Challenge this month. I've been on a roll and made 12 so far , i 'll post a tute sometime later in the week :)

They are a great way to use up all your leftover bits and pieces that you collect from swaps and really all i had to buy were the chennille sticks and choccies to put in them.

I've stamped with TH pumice[love this color] Fiskars Harlequin stamp and then TH black soot in a script stamp. Inked around the edges and gessoed areas to make the image stand out more. Lots of kindyglitz, sewn to felt and embellished, they dont take long to make and best thing is they are using upsome of my never ending stash :)

I love the big silver snowflake, if you can guess what it came from , i'll send it to you!

oh and i fixed the snowflake , it lost its gem.....

Inkurable have some lovely shabbies added this month so go check them out....

and dont forget to guess...:)

edit****** i shouldve said just the silver part of the snowflake , it is aluminium and it did come from Spotlight but whats it off? hmmmm????
thanks for the comments....

No idea where it came from...Spotlight? I dont think it would have had that gorgeous gem coming from Spotlight though.

I have no idea where the snowflake came from so I'm going to say a decoration from a box...maybe chocolates...

OMG I love your Shabby Pocket creation Jen!!
Will look forward to your tute.
The big silver snowflake is a gorgeous touch, is it a Christmas tree decoration? ...or a deco from a Christmas Cracker?!

Wow Jen this is gorgeous. What a great shabby pocket.
Loverly it is....I think this was a brooch and you flattened it, probably was rounded and had a gem inside and knowing you, you probably flattened it with a hammer.
