random craft stufff....

this is an extremely random post of just some of the things I've made
this year that I thought I would share....

some bags.....

......found this easy peasy bag on Pinterest............ the hessian was STILL shedding after 3 washes and delinting [ is that a word!!) with a sticky roller....

I do love that pear print..... it went to a crafty friend for her birthday :)

these I had made for Charlie to take overseas as gifts.... not so quick and easy but they look lovely with this Melbourne fabric and cheap tablecloth plastic...

I also made Charlie a new journal to take over for her memories and collectables.... this was super duper quick too... another Pinterest find.... I left it fairly plain for her to decorate...

Pull the inside out of an old book cover and punch two holes in the back and front covers...

then fill with separate pages made from any scrapbook papers and old junk...made lots of pockets too

She is  having a wonderful time in Ireland being aupair to 3 little girls....she spends about 4 days working and has long weekends to spend with the Irish/ English relatives or goes travelling... you can read her exploits here....

and used some of my washi stash too on this little bunting.............. :)

....... I made this winter throw for our new couch from some clearance fabric. it has lovely chenille flowers  and I backed it with polar fleece for warmth. it was about $50.00m down to $5.00 m, I do love a bargain....

so all in all a pretty random post as you can see, but its good to keep busy doing bit and pieces and im enjoying fiddling about with house stuff since we painted...

and you gotta love Pinterest ....

keeps me occupied for hours...:)
