lucy's wallet....
Lucy never ceases to amaze me , well both of my girls really! came home the other night and she had decided to make herself a wallet. an hour later and she had made it.
how cool is this!! she was lucky enough to score some canvas that the fashion art students had down on their tables for screen painting and used that.
no pattern , just copied her wallet and whacked it together, in typical lucy style!
she has orders for 3 of them now.....
i made this card for a friend , id been looking at those paper flowers the scrapbookers are using and thought id have a go at making one .
it turned out ok, but wouldve been better with more layers i think.
i love black and white plus one, it always works.
couple of atc i made for a tissue background swap......

i used twinklings for the background and some gold and bronze paint just lightly brushed on . the asian ribbon was bit thick so i freehand scalloped it! The stars were silver but painted ok with alcohol inks.

i was getting depressed with all the grey and cold weather we have been having lately and decided to revamp my blog. its a bit more cheery although i must get lucy onto a new header. if only the house was as easy to change too......
Thanks for all your comments too, i am having trouble posting comments at the moment, think our computer needs a bit of an overhaul......xoxoxoxoxox

Blog tutorial...
Hey ppls, i have uploaded [with lots of Lucy's help] a blog tutorial for my atc backgrounds.
A few people had 'enquired' so i thought it would be a good opportunity to learn about the box.net widget!
These are the same method that i did for the Audrey and Irish cards.
Anyhow i think it has successfully worked, its on the sidebar. let me know!
If you do any, i would love to see too.
Here are some better pics to give you an idea, you can click the pic for a close up.
Mind you, if you are on dial up these pics are huge! new camera!!

Some lusciousness…….
Made my Christmas cake yesterday, should have been made 2 months ago but at least its not the day before Christmas like a few years ago!
It’s a chocolate fruit cake soaked with lots of orange liqueur. You brush it on, have sip and brush it on, have a sip, brush on some more, sip some more, you get the picture!
I slept very well last night.
I made two so I have one to take over to the farm at Christmas. My sil is rather a fan; she shares my tastes in alcohol and chocolate.
While I was sipping and brushing, I made these 4 atc’s for a house challenge on a forum I am a member of.
No fabric and no stitching but lots of glitter!!!
The first two i have for trade, if anyone wants to trade, ema me.i am not in hurry if you dont have any cards to trade just yet.

Just noticed that the scanner has chopped all the feet off, they do really have feet!!!
And my finished cakes...look a bit decadent, dont they? i love pecans specially choccy coated.

its nice getting mail....
got these these two lovely shoe atc's from Jan in England as part of a mens and ladies shoes swap. love the scrabble tiles and the little studs/brads on the ladies boot...and all the little scraps of leather.
i sent jan these, a mixture of fabric and paper and lots of stitching.
The furnishing fabrics were perfect for these.....
