Things must be bad when your daughter tells you she is disappointed because you haven't blogged about her leaving home ! i blogged all year about Charlie apparently.... i told her that I haven't blogged about Charlies 18th either or the fact that she hasn't received her quilt for her birthday yet so she was doing OK......:)

anyway two weeks ago Luce left home to go to college where she gets learn about all things equine. its a beautiful campus stuck out in the sticks and a working horse stud. she has settled in beautifully and is the most animated and happy i have seen her for ages.... she has been home both weekends but that will stop when her horse goes down next semester. its about 7hrs and two trains, too much .....
i think she has done so much growing up in the last two weeks ,

her room......we didnt have much time to get it all set up....

yes her tedda went down , looking the bit worse for wear!

nice campus huh?

OWOH winners...
i sent my journals off a good week ago so they should be getting close to you by now.....

I have also been making more journals thanks to Doreen for sending me some pattern paper [havent taken pics yet] and i have been making decoupaged bangles using paper napkins. I gessoed around the inside and then smudged oil crayons.

its all go here i tell you !!!!

An equine campus???? Where has your daughter gone. Both of my boys are in the horse industry ... and I'm very happy about that. Hope your daughter enjoys her time at the campus and does well at her studies.
Love your latest bangles....ah ha...the ever versatile napkins.

Wonderful bangles. I say goodbuy to No 2 in Sept as he goes off to Nautical college - he's in NZ right now - seemed to be a good place to go compared to Australia. Who knew there'd be an earthquake - luckily he was in North Island at the time - & I'm reall hoping the tsunami is tiny by the time it get's there. poor people.
