Christmas in July....
so here's my July dress, 99% recycled.
lovely vintage music sheet from Jenny, gold lame from old earing and then.... i received this really ugly tassel for my birthday. It had big chunks of glue and really horrible plastic parts. I was about to donate it to the op shop when it hit me...pull it apart as the rest of it is nice. So I've used the braid, cord and beady bits!
Just got to find a use for the fringe now....and Jenny there will be no discussion in the tea room, dont want to upset anyone ;)
This is probably the quickest one to date....
Party, party party....
and this atc i made for a July swap, i couldnt wait to use this fun stamp from The Stamping Queen. The background is oil crayons over gesso and i colored him in with gel pens.
Gosh why do the weekends go so fast?
Its nearly Monday again AAARRRGGGHH..
I am off to the stitches and craft show in Melbourne on Thursday so that should be fun.....

Another beauty!
Love the ribbons and beads overlaid for the skirt very pretty.
The toymaker on your ATC reminds me of the child snatcher in Chitty chitty bang bang, not sure why but I like it :-)

Stunning bit of recycling going on there Jen! love your July dress with all the dangles! fab colour! Mx
this dress is my favorite so far.....I love to take things and take them apart and turn them into something new.....I love the papers and the dangles and well, the whole bit.....it is really, really pretty!
Jen I love these little dresses, how big are they in real life? Even the little coat hangers are cute!
GORGEOUS dress!!!
It may have been the quickest to date, but I love it. As summer dresses go, this one has just the right movement for the summer breezes to make those ribbons dance. Of course, I love it when anything is recycled, so you know this dress is going to be a favorite. And the "brooch" you added at the neckline was the perfect finishing touch.
This is just a beautiful dress. More proof that we should never throw anything away! Your ATC is so cute too!
